Advancing AI and Industry 4.0 together

In the context of digitalisation, AI and Industry 4.0 have become increasingly important in recent years. This development is reflected in numerous successful initiatives in both Baden-Württemberg and France. Cross-border exchange on Industry 4.0 and applied AI has been strengthened by a dedicated project. The consortium analysed technological and economic prioirities, connected companies and research organisations from both countries in working groups and topic-specific workshops and provided support services for AI start-ups. The project was funded by the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Economics, Labour and Tourism.

As project partner, Steinbeis Europa Zentrum was responsible for the cross-border networking and promotion of knowledge and technology transfer, especially through connecting innovation partners and implementing matchmaking brokerage days.
