Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Tourism Baden-WürttembergInnovation Park AI goes Berlin
On 24 November 2022, Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut MdL, Minister of Economic Affairs of the State of Baden-Württemberg invited the nationwide AI scene to the representation of the State of Baden-Württemberg in Berlin to provide insights into the Innovation Park AI in Heilbronn. The selected audience not only gained insights into cooperation opportunities, but also got to experience AI for themselves: Klangio GmbH presented their AI for transcription into notes and at the networking, an AI-generated exhibition by DALL-E 2 awaited the visitors. Steinbeis Europa Zentrum was responsible for the conception, organisation and implementation of the event.
The Ipai, which is being realised in Heilbronn, is one of the very big innovation policy visions of the state government of Baden-Württemberg.
Prof. Reinhold Geilsdörfer, Managing Director of the Dieter Schwarz Foundation, and Harry Mergel, Lord Mayor of Heilbronn, provided information about the project and the general conditions offered by Heilbronn as a location. The CEO of Ipai, Moritz Gräter informed the audience about the possibilities of cooperation and participation and invited everyone to network.
During the networking, the participants were able to experience AI themselves: Klangio GmbH presented their AI piano2notes which transcribes piano pieces into sheet music. The visitors were able to observe live how the AI converts the piano music of the musician present into notes. Furthermore, an AI-generated exhibition awaited the visitors. DALL-E 2 generated beautiful works of art from various terms and a style. Pictures of the speakers were exhibited and the visitors could create their own works of art on a laptop.
