European project INTUITEL
Intelligent tutors interface for Technology Enhanced Learning
INTUITEL comprises an interdisciplinary project consortium consisting of e-learning experts, pedagogues and computer scientists. The objective of INTUITEL is to enhance e-learning content and Learning Management Systems (LMS) with features that so far can only be provided by human tutors. An INTUITEL-enabled system will provide an integrated learning environment that can reconfigure and adapt itself to the learner’s specific needs. The system generates learning feedback, which is informed by the relevant pedagogical models as well as insights arising from monitoring learning behaviour, the cultural and emotional context in which learning takes place and the relevant environmental influences such as ambient noise, available communication bandwidth and interface features, e.g. screen size.
INTUITEL will push forward the frontiers of e-learning to support a global learning cloud with personalised technology-enhanced learning made available for any person in any place, through any access device and under any external conditions, including mobile learning scenarios.
SEZ supports the project coordinator, Prof. Dr. Henning from Karlsruhe University of Applied Science, with financial and administrative management and the exploitation of project results.
