Enhancing participation of SMEs in EU-health research projects

Fit for Health 2.0 aimed to sustainably enhance the participation of European industry, in particular research intensive, high-technology small or medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the health-related theme of Horizon 2020, the new EU-Framework Programme for Research and Innovation. SMEs and researchers were supported by targeted, cost-free support measures during the entire innovation cycle and all phases of research projects, including first orientation, consortium building, proposal writing, project management and lastly efficient exploitation of project results.

SEZ was responsible for the work package training measures in the project, especially exploitation strategies, coaching and mentoring. It has been a member of the strategic development group in the project and at the same time the link to the Enterprise Europe Network.
