Mission Statement

Our Purpose:

Situated in Baden-Württemberg, Steinbeis-Europa-Zentrum establishes links between industry, academia and politics in all thematic areas with Europe on behalf of the Land Baden-Württemberg. Our main focus is on offering advisory and support services for accessing European research and technology transfer programmes with the aim of supporting and developing the innovation ability in the region. Acclaimed European strategic innovation process methodologies support SEZ in this activity.

SEZ’s main clientele are SME, research institutes, universities and development agencies in Baden-Württemberg. SEZ helps clients prepare European project bids and manage successfully evaluated projects, by supporting technology transfer and by assisting the creation and maintenance of networks.

SEZ offers a professional and client-oriented service. SEZ plays an active and high-quality role in maintaining a sustainable advance and economic development of the Land Baden-Württemberg by working both at regional and European levels.

To this end SEZ employees utilise their specialised know-how to strive for success for both the organisations and region we serve. The organisation contributes to “shaping” and “serving” the region.

SEZ is active as an intermediator and translator for industry, research and administrations at both European and regional levels. SEZ works well not only with industry but also with research. We are renowned in Baden-Württemberg for our bridging function between industry and research
