EU-Contact Point for Universities in Baden-Württemberg

On behalf of the Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts of Baden-Württemberg, Steinbeis-Europa-Zentrum is supporting the universities of applied sciences in Baden-Württemberg regarding European funding programmes and the writing of proposals as well as the implementation of European projects.

The services for the universities comprise:

  • Information about funding programmes
  • Support in the writing of proposals within FP 7
  • Help in the search of trans-national partners
  • Support in contract negotiations with the European Commission
  • Support in the implementation of projects
  • Consultation regarding consortial agreements and intellectual property rights
  • Presenting European projects of universities in the database www.wissenschaftwirtschaft-bw.de

The services for universities are part of the Initiative Science and Economy in charge of the Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts and the Ministry of Economic Affairs of Baden-Württemberg, financed by the former. This initiative aims at strengthening the dialogue between actors of research and economy. Steinbeis-Europa-Zentrum, in this process, is taking on a mediating position regarding cross-border technology transfer.
