FP7 Project (Eureka): consortium seeking SMEs involved in image analysis software for crowd gatherings security

The company is looking for partners for working on statistics software, elaborating higher level events, while the company develops the image processing software, as well as its integration with market supervision systems. |
| Beschreibung | A European consortium covering three countries and coordinated by a French company is looking for SMEs involved in CCTV video images interpretation in order to detect events that would be relevant for security & safety. The French company is looking for additional software development in this field, along with database and statistics management. When detecting events over the images of the cameras on a video network, the French company collects information which is relevant to notify directly in some cases (e. g. an accident), and also collects activity information (e. g. descriptors of frequentation, behaviours) which are not systematically interesting to notify. First, a statistics filter software should be invented and developed in order to compare these minor events with those of other similar days, as well as with those of other cameras on the network, in order to raise events in a smart way : * If the frequentation increases everywhere, it is smart to notify that the site is being filled, instead of notifying this fact camera by camera, * If one camera shows an empty zone, the information is interesting only if usually there are many people in this zone on similar days. The French company is looking for partners for working on statistics software, elaborating higher level events, while the company develops the image processing software, as well as its integration with market supervision systems. The software should run over a TCP-IP network, and be linked to camera analyzers, and to the site supervision interface. A linux based PC based architecture would fit with standards of our existing video applications.
