The Steinbeis Network is totally unique thanks to more than 4.600 experts in specialized Steinbeis-Enterprises and in the private, State-recognized Steinbeis University Berlin plus cooperation partners in 50 countries, in every corner of the globe.

We draw upon a rich variety of sources for the know-how needed to implement transfer: universities, universities of applied science, universities of cooperative education, and research institutes. Our own Steinbeis University also offers degree programs and certified courses at transfer institutes, dovetailed to fit into participants’ full-time work. More than 20 years ago a pilot project. For years, education experts have been crying out for industry and the world of academia to dovetail theory with practice. At the Steinbeis University Berlin, it has been an everyday reality since its very foundation as a private university in 1998. Course participants work together with business on projects to be implemented within the company. The ‘Project Competence Program’ provides entrepreneurs and staff, master craftsmen and young academics with practice-related qualifications. With courses ranging from seminars to state-approved bachelor and master degrees.
