Strategic Policy Intelligence for better research and innovation policies in Europes Regions

Steinbeis-Europa-Zentrum wants to invite you to the presentation of the RegStrat Guide & Compendium, followed by an evening reception, both events taking place in the premises of the Representation of Baden-Württemberg to the EU. The evening reception will feature the kick-off of a new Regions-of-Knowledge project, CReATE, building upon the know-how generated in RegStrat.

RegStrat aimed to encourage regional decision-makers to take a longer-term approach towards regional RTDI policy-making, programme development and innovation financing in all priority RTDI areas. These issues are also at the core of CReATE, this project focusing on better harnessing the economic potential of creative industries clusters. Developing strategic research agendas and corresponding training courses and capacity building measures are key features.

The RegStrat final event will discuss the application of Strategic Policy Intelligence tools from various angles, European Commission representatives will approach SPI for policy support and implementation and the RegStrat outcomes will be featured both on a general level contributing to the Lisbon Strategy and on the level of concrete applications for regional development.
