International Student Conference on Microtechnology - research highlights - networking - career building

"International Student Conference on Microtechnology
research highlights - networking - career building" ist das Motto der Konferenz. Sie bildet den Auftakt einer Reihe von Aktivitäten und Veranstaltungen (University Weeks) und bietet interessierten Studenten den Zugang zu einer Karriere auf dem Gebiet der Mikrosystemtechnik im deutschen Spitzencluster MicroTEC Südwest. Veranstaltet wird die Konferenz von der Hochschule Furtwangen, IMTEK - dem Institut für Mikrosystemtechnik an der Universität Freiburg und dem Steinbeis-Europa-Zentrum. Die Konferenz wird gefördert vom Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung.

"International Student Conference on Microtechnology
research highlights - networking - career building" is the motto of the Student Conference. The Student Conference kicks off a series of activities and events (University Weeks) providing interested students with access to a career in the field of microsystem technology in the top-level cluster “MicroTEC Südwest” (Southwest) in Germany. Baden-Württemberg is one of the most important centres for the German microsystems engineering industry. In Baden-Württemberg is located on of the Leading-Edge Cluster the Cluster MicroTEC Südwest. Top class speakers offer you an insight into current topics in the world of microsystem technology. Mobility, Health Care, Smart Systems Integration and Energy in the 21st century will be topics of the conference´s scientific programme.

Organisers are the University of Applied Sciences Furtwangen, IMTEK - Department of Microsystems Engineering at the University of Freiburg and Steinbeis-Europa-Zentrum. The conference is supported by the Federal German Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).

Registration Information:
Registration fee for the International Student Conference is € 90,00. The registration fee includes lunches, snacks and beverages in the breaks as well as conference materials and participation in the Post Conference Programme. Part of the cost (€ 40) may be refunded to those taking an active part in the conference by attending the competition and/or the Creativity Team contest. Registration closes on 10th September 2012.
