Since 1990 SEZ has supported companies, universities and research institutes in Baden-Württemberg in accessing and participating in European projects. Good prospects of receiving European funding are only assured when the formal criteria of the proposal are strictly followed. This includes keeping to deadlines, involving the necessary minimum number of European partners in the project, meeting the criteria regarding the exploitation of research results and incorporating the European dimension into the project.

We support companies, universities and research institutes all the way from the project idea to the launch of newly developed products and provide answers to the following questions:

• Which requirements do I have to meet in order to develop a promising project?
• Is my idea likely to be funded?
• Is my technology innovative?
• How many partners do I need and how can I find them?
• How should the tasks be split up between project partners?
• How can the project be financed?
• What else do I have to consider for the proposal?
• Which criteria are important regarding intellectual property?
• Who will manage the project and what support is available?

As the National Contact Point for SME in Baden-Württemberg we offer help and advice to particularly small and medium sized enterprises.
As the official EU-information centre for universities in Baden-Württemberg we give free consultancy to universities of applied science situated in the region.
